Abbey reduce booking fees on mortgage products

From tomorrow, Friday 30th July 2010, Abbey are reducing the booking fees by up to £500 on two of its products in its mortgage range.

Changes as follows:

- 2 year Fixed rate Loyal Mover Homebuyer product, 70% LTV 3.09%, fee now £495

- Flexible Offset Homebuyer product, 75% LTV, 3.49% (BBR + 2.99%), fee now £1,250 (payable upfront).

Abbey for Intermediaries have also reduced the rate on its 3 year Fixed rate Core product, 70% LTV, to 3.88% with a £995 fee.

At the same time the charge end date on the fixed rate range will move on one month and all the product codes will be replaced. Therefore full applications on these products must be submitted by midnight Thursday 29th July in order to secure a booking on these products.
